Are there any costs associated with using Surepay for my business?
For most merchants, the service is free. We may apply a small fee (similar to a credit card processing fee) in some situations, depending on the merchant.
How can my clients apply for financing through Surepay?
Clients typically apply by clicking a link on their phone or email. The merchant generally provides this link through the Surepay portal, which is provided upon merchant account activation. Nearly 80% of all new clients will be instantly approved, some of which may be conditionally approved and will require the client to gather additional documentation or verbal verification prior to final approval.
How much can my clients be approved for through Surepay?
Clients may be approved from $300.00 to $5,000.00. Amount of approval is dependent upon factors including income, banking history, credit history, length of employment, verification of contact information, etc.
How soon will my account be funded upon transaction approval?
On average, Surepay will fund your account within 24 hours if the transaction occurs before 5PM (MST). We fund Monday-Friday. Contracts processed on Saturday and Sunday will be processed the following business day.
How is Surepay different than rent-to-own or other lease companies?

- Cost to the Client. Most rent-to-own companies will charge the full amount of the loan once it goes past 100 days. Surepay will only ever charge accrued interest (finance charge).
- Merchant Loyalty. We won’t ever shop your customer to a different merchant without your permission or the clients permission. Many rent-to-own shops allow the customer to shop around to different merchants.
- Cutting-Edge Technology. We offer instant online approvals for up to 80% of all applicants. Our e-signature process has the fewest clicks and is one of the most streamlined in the industry.
- Taxes. Most rent-to-own solutions will require you (the merchant) to run a separate tax transaction (since a rent-to-own solution CANNOT finance the tax). We allow you to include all taxes in the loan itself (does not need to be separated…we can finance taxes, shipping, handling, everything).
- Retail Installment Contract vs. Loans or Leases. Since we provide Retail Installment Contracts, we can support businesses that offer services as well as selling goods or products. The client “owns” the product immediately following the transaction.
